Looking for OKIDATA, LEXMARK, EPSON Dot Matrix Replacements?

OKIDATA Americas has stopped selling printers – dot matrix and lasers alike.

LEXMARK lists nine different impact printer models on its website. Upon clicking each one, there is a DISCONTINUED notice on the page.

EPSON dot matrix units have often been out of stock over the last few years. In mid-January 2022, their website listed 13 models. Eleven were “OUT OF STOCK.” The hefty DFX-9000 list price was $3,157, and the only other one that did not show as out-of-stock (FX890 II) had no price listed.

Those smaller and low-cost competitive alternatives are either dead and gone, withdrawn, or have been nearly impossible to locate. Ribbons have grown harder to find. If you use any of the models shown in the graphic below, you have a great new option with the Tally DASCOM 2600+.
