Microplex F140 Continuous Form Laser

The Microplex SOLID F140 was a high-speed continuous laser printer designed for monthly print volumes of up to 800,000 letter-sized pages in 2-up format. It accommodated media widths up to 18 inches and included a standard paper stacker with a capacity of 3,000 sheets (64 g/m²). Due to the printer’s straight paper path and non-contact flash lamp fusing, it excels at processing thermally sensitive materials such as PE, PVC, and adhesive labels. PCL5 emulation ensured compatibility with standard laser printers and facilitated integration with SAP® systems. The SOLID F140 also supported multiple printer languages, allowing it to replace discontinued models like Printronix® L7032, IBM® Infoprint series, and OCE® Variostream units. Direct support for IPDS and PDF print output eliminated the need for external drivers or boxes connecting to spool systems such as BlueServer® or PRISMA®.

Microplex SOLID F140 Laser Printer

For decades, Microplex laser printers delivered quality continuous laser-form printers. The Microplex SOLID F140 laser printer was the top performer in the Microplex product line. The F140 was popular in Europe as a replacement of simplex InfoPrint 4100 units.
