Oce VarioStream 7110 – End of Sales and Service
Year-End 2021 is the official close of all Oce continuous form printers with flash fusing. Support ends a few months later, in April 2022. Sales have already been completed. Oce will have already withdrawn all prior VS7100 models from support. The Oce VarioStream 7110 will reach the end.
The Oce VS 7110 and Oce VS 7170 are the LAST of several Oce flash fusing continuous form printer families. Spanning from the VarioStream 6100, then 7120 / 7160, and finally, the 7110 / 7170, these printers have served customers by printing labels and complicated form factors for many years. No longer offered for sale, the Oce 7110 moves to the pages of history and all the previous Oce flash fusion units.
The Oce flash fusion printers have always seemed like an afterthought in the product mix. Official brochures never attributed much value to them. Oce often called it a development/test unit for their significant printers that a huge Oce customer might have in their big print center. Oce VarioStream replacement printers for the Oce VarioStream 7110
Currently, there are no Oce flash-fusing printer products for sale. The entry-level Oce VarioStream 4000 is at least twice the entry cost of other market options for you to boot.
