SOLUTIONS !    Such an overused word in the IT business

 

Many companies are named This-and-That 'Solutions' Company.  We even hung the name PCI Solutions on our joint venture with Printer Connection, and we feature many products from InfoPrint Solutions. 

 

FACT: A printer is not a solution; it is a printer machine. 

     Might it solve a problem?  Sure. 

     Does that make it fair to trumpet it as a solution?  Maybe not so much. 

Truth be told -

     InfoPrint Solutions reps mostly sell printers, day-in and day-out.

     Ricoh Production Print Solutions reps?  Same thing.

 

The ideas we have listed in this section may be delivered via consulting services, software implementation, or specific hardware features.  It is likely that it is a blend.  We have listed some of our favorite and most common solutions to customer requirements.

 

A solution should make your company money, or save time and effort, increase your customers and their purchases from you.  It ought to solve a need or provide a profit tool in order to be a 'solution'.
